Run Bike Run Writing

WALT use poetic verse to recount an event we participated in.

The Run Bike Run event was usual enough; it had                              

the bridge,  small path,  the annoying bushes,

the teachers and even a lake.

Some red, blue flags and cones on the track.

My friends, my classmates and I did what kids do -  

Played on the path, pedalled as fast as we could.

Ran like the wind, shouted as loud as we could.

Did our best, helped others.

Passed other people, said hi to spectators.

Zoomed past the transition area.

Parked our bikes beside our group’s flag.

Doing their best to get first place.

Multi Cultural Week

This week I have participated actively in a range of learning experience around ‘Multicultural week’

WHAT: I was involved in a range of learning experiences for Multicultural week. I learnt about Israel, Russia and China.

SO WHAT:

I learnt how to use chopsticks

I enjoyed learning about different countries.

I was most fascinated by how Israel is very small.

NOW WHAT

A question I have is how do you float in the Dead Sea?

Swimming!

At swimming learnt how to do butterfly the stroke.
I found butterfly challenging.
I was proud of learning butterfly because I have never done it before.

Strand Maths

We are learnt how to measure different objects.

Three units of measurement I know about are meters, centimeters and millimeters.

Persuasive Writing.

Persuasive writing 

We are learning to write persuasively. Some places I would find persuasive writing are at election speeches, advertisements and online news pages.
